Born and raised in East Baltimore, Rev. Johnson was called to the ministry at the age of 16 and received his early Christian training at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Leonard Hicks. He has been preaching for thirty-eight years and pastoring for twenty-four years and it still feels like a honeymoon. If you ask Pastor Johnson what his mission is, he’ll tell you simply “To win the whole world to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!”
